What can you add to a new Cibolo home's backyard?
Most new homes in Cibolo close with a bare backyard: grass, a fence and maybe a small builder slab. The outdoor living comes later, and that is the work V Construction does. Popular additions include a stamped patio, a covered patio slab, walkways from the gate to the back door, a pool deck and an extended driveway. Cibolo sits in Guadalupe County, east of Schertz along FM 78 and FM 1103, and many of its subdivisions are newer, so plenty of yards start from the same blank slate. Every job begins with a free, no-obligation estimate and a walkthrough, then a written estimate. We prep the ground, pour and finish the concrete, stamp and seal it when you choose stamped work, and close with a final walkthrough together, so you know the work is finished the way you expected.
Three ways to finish a new backyard

Stamped patio with a fire pit
A stamped ashlar patio with a round fire pit cutout gives a new yard a place to gather.

Covered patio slab
Shade changes how a backyard gets used. A stamped slab under a pergola or cover makes it a real outdoor room.

Pool deck slab
Poured and finished around the pool, a deck slab can be plain or stamped to suit the rest of the yard.

A new house already has its own look, so we do not pick the finish for you. At the walkthrough we look at the home and the yard together, then you choose what fits. Stamped work is sealed after stamping.

Backyard concrete, answered
Can you extend the builder patio at my Cibolo home?
Usually yes. A small builder slab can often be widened by adding a new pour next to it, and the surface can be stamped or finished so the new area looks intentional. At the walkthrough we check the existing slab and the space around it, then put the extension in a written estimate for your Cibolo yard.
Should a new Cibolo backyard get stamped or plain concrete?
It depends on how you will use the space. Plain concrete is simple and clean for a utility pad or a driveway extension. Stamped concrete adds a flagstone, ashlar or circular pattern and warm earth-tone color, which suits a patio or walkway you see every day. We can quote both so you can compare.
Can you pour a pool deck for a backyard pool in Cibolo?
Yes, pool decks are part of our concrete work. We pour and finish a slab around the pool, and can add a covered patio slab beside it for seating. The deck can be plain or stamped. At the walkthrough we look at the pool and layout, then the details go into a written estimate.
How does an estimate work for a Cibolo backyard project?
Tell us about the project, and we schedule a walkthrough. After that you get a written estimate. Every estimate is free and comes with no obligation. If you go ahead, we do the work and finish with a final walkthrough together. We respond during business hours, Monday to Friday.
